Iirc, Zetman's first episode crammed 13 chapters into 1 episode, so that's up there.

As far as on average though and without including overly rushed adaptions, Hajime no Ippo would be up there, covering over 550 chapters in just shy of 130 episodes. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is on a similar level in that regard too.

According to wikia, pre-filler finale it still covered a-lot of chapters per episode though.

Right and looking at the wikia says episode 21 is the last episode before the filler. So 90 chapters in 21 episodes.

Shaman-King apparently covered 285 chapters in 64 episodes. I don't know what (or even if anything) was left-out though. But I don't know whether it kept the pace up from the beginning because the last arc seems to be rushed the most. I went by the information on wikia.

Kaiji was 26 episodes. 151 chapters, still very faithful adaptation though apparently.

I could only look up-to chapter 23 (I think, I can't remember exactly) and the anime got to that point in episode 4. First episode covered chapters 1-4, IIRC.
