Anime Gohan vs Dabura

Alright so while the debate rages on regarding the manga, I decided to take a look at the anime. In episode of 226 and 227 we have Gohan vs Dabura.

We start off with Base Gohan vs Dabura and it seems to be an even match.

Gohan then transforms and the narrator says he is going full throttle.

Dabura quakes in fear and then SSJ Gohan attacks Dabura and starts wrecking him. After getting beat up for a while Dabura regains his composure and they begin to have an even match again.

Then Gohan seems to power up or transform further, tells Dabura to use all his power because at this game it's not even a fight. Kaioshin calls Gohan's power incredible... From everything I can see here guys this is what I'm getting...


Gohan uses all three forms against Dabura in the anime. Anyone else want to watch the fights and chime in?

Toei seems to lean towards the theory that Gohan was a SSJ2 against Dabura.

Anime Gohan was still SSjin... Toei made him look SSjin 2 by the story....

Yea I'm convinced Gohan uses Super Saiyan 2 against Dabura here. No doubt about it.

In the anime he seems to transform to SSJ at first before turning SSJ2 when he starts taunting Dabra to go full power in my opinion. Of course, this doesn't apply to the manga.

He was a SSJ2 in the anime, but not in the manga. In the manga he was only a SSJ.

P, I did a list of power levels with Gohan being a SSJ2 and having a rage boost... take a look please.

Yea in the anime Gohan definitely appears to be a Super Saiyan 2. I find it very interesting that they decided to go that route.

2) Gohan powers up and tells Dabura to use his full power because the difference in their power is too vast.
3) Kaioshin calls Gohan's power up incredible


How could Dabura be fighting Ssj Gohan evenly, do a massive power up and still only be fighting him evenly.

Was Gohan holding back before? Why is Kaioshin remarking that Gohan is " incredible "?
