Do you have any or have you considered getting any? A couple years ago I thought I'd put stuff like that on my rucksack if studying. It could be an impetus for someone to talk to you if they like the same stuff or want to ask what it is. That reminds me a few months ago I saw this grey-haired elderly woman on the bus with a denim battle jacket covered in colourful patches - one said "fuck TERFs". The stop she got off at wasn't a surprise looking at her jacket (trendy/indie shops area on edge of city centre).

If there were Gintama pins/badges I'd totes buy them, either online or especially in-store. In shops I've seen Dandadan ones. They sell as a three pack rather than individually and tbh I don't know if I want 3.
Someone at the gym has the same rucksack as me, so I was thinking of getting something.

One thing I'm unsure of is if it affects how waterproof a rucksack is. I've read they fall off easily too. The fk. Now I'm wondering what you're actually supposed to do with the badges.

These are everywhere in Japan. I mostly didn't buy any because I prefer magnets and keychains, of which they have comparatively less, but yeah they're cool. I might have one or two but I don't recall. Would have to go through my shit.

I think I have a couple of bag tags of Pokemon that are made to look like patches.
