Are Krillin and Yamcha prodigies?

Do you think Krillin is a prodigy? Roshi said it took about 50 years to learn the KHH. Of course, Roshi had to invent it himself, as it was his original move and not taught to him by anyone else - but if he thinks it takes 50 years to learn, that means it probably took his student Gohan 50 years to learn as well.

But Krillin was able to do the KHH with under 3 years of training (plus battle experience in the 21stTB and some against the RRA). He only attempts it after the 21st Budokai - but it's possible he was capable before this - seeing as Goku did it with a PL of around 10 - but just didn't try because Roshi didn't encourage it and Krillin didn't believe it was possible for himself until seeing Goku do it (plus he didn't seem to be very confident in his ability or strength for whatever reason (interesting, since he seemed confident when he first met Goku)).

Yamcha was able to learn the KHH with just two years of training under Roshi, plus his own training prior to that (from which he'd already acquired a high level of strength and some ki control, having developed the Wolf Fang Fist). Again, did he learn it so fast because he's a prodigy and learnt it quickly, rather than taking 50 years? Or because Roshi was now more open to teaching the KHH to any students in general after seeing Goku's success with it? Or because Roshi was specifically open to teaching it to Yamcha (and Krillin), only because he'd already witnessed their great power in the 21st TB?

It's possible Roshi previously didn't try to teach students the KHH until they've already acquired a certain level of power or passed some other training hurdle. So when he says "50 years" it might not be 50 years of frequently trying to learn the KHH or ki control, but that he first expects his students to spend decades on other training.

Yamcha was some random scrub who lived in a desert that was able to get a lifetime martial arts master in Roshi get slightly serious in the 21st Budokai without formal training.

Krillin became a martial artist worthy of Roshi's respect by carrying milk around and doing field work.

Absolutely prodigies.

Yamcha's ki ability is actually quite good. He learned the Kamehameha on his own, he had his Spirit Ball, Wolf Fang Fist. He honestly has quite a complete game. He started off stupidly powerful, I mean, he's nearly matching a Saiyan's natural power. It's interesting.

The Sokidan is a pretty wild technique. The fact that he was even able to hit Kami at his level is crazy.

All of the humans in general. Piccolo actually respected them during the 23rd Budokai which says a lot.

Yamcha is definitely a prodigy. He seems to be self taught until he trained with Roshi. Same for Kuririn, but I always fet Kuririn was more hard work than talent.
