The slug said the word ''increasing'' three times. I think this makes at the very least 2x a boost for Grade 2.

It doesn't have to be 2x to justify those statements. The first is easily just describing Vegeta's power increasing from its starting point and not growing, and the second is furthering that it's still getting higher. There's no implication or specification that the first statement is regarding a 50% boost and the next is regarding another 50% boost, or such would have it.
