Avatar - Aang VS Korra

Personally, I think:

All Aang>Child Korra
Child Aang (ATLA) w/o State<Korra (ALL Seasons) w/o State
Adult Aang w/o State>Korra (ALL Seasons) w/o State (MAYBE Season 2-3 State)
Child Aang w/ State>Korra w/ State (Season 2)
Child Aang w/ State<Korra w/ State (Season 3-4)
Adult Aang w/ State>Korra (ALL Seasons) w/ State
Adult Korra is currently unknown...
Aang - 4
Korra - 2
Aang OVERALL wins.
(I like Korra's series much better though)

Its supposed to be that the next avatar is stronger than the previous... but I think that's a load of bullshit. All of Aang's feats completely trump Korra's. Korra gets beaten by like regular people, even in the avatar state. When Aang is in the Avatar state, it is a disastrous rampage that takes out fuckin everyone. With Korra, its like oh I powered up slightly but I'm still super weak.

I don't care what anyone says, Aang stomps.

Agreed. I don't believe the "Current Avatar is stronger than the last Avatar" bullshit. Aang had much better feats than Korra, even with their DRASTIC personalities. Korra was a hot head (at first) who liked to fight and would get into a fight at her first chance and most of the time got her ass kicked. Aang on the other hand was a pacifist by nature who didn't like to fight, but whenever he did he was more than capable of kicking someone's ass on his own and he held back a lot. When you're using the Avatar State that's when it's most noticeable.

Korra's Avatar State - It appears to be a noticeable power up and she takes control of fight for a short while but then goes back to getting her ass kicked.

- Vs. Unalaaq & Vaatu she almost managed to seal him in the Tree of Time or whatever it was called but was floored by Unalaaq and still can't beat him once he becomes a Dark Avatar.

- Vs. Zaheer. He was mostly on the defensive and she was poisoned but he still put up a damn good fight and was the once scoring most of the blows.

- Vs. Kuvira. Korra immediately stomped her once she entered the Avatar State.


Aang's Avatar State - A massive power where he did all sorts of crazy shit from Huge Waterspouts to becoming a giant Ocean Spirit and soloing an entire fucking army, to bending all 4 elements simultaneously and winning just about every fight he was in with it as well as from I understand a few rather interesting things in the comics.

Aang has shown better durability and speed than Korra although I will say

Korra > Aang in Waterbending
Korra > Aang in Firebending
Aang > Korra in Earthbending
Aang > Korra in Airbending.
