Born as a lowest-level warrior, he lacks experience fighting to the death against strong opponents, and so his battle power is of the lowest level for a Saiyan. He also hasn't strengthened his weak spot, the tail, and is called "weakling Raditz" by his comrades.

In the Daizenshuu, Raditz was called the lowest-level for a Saiyan. So 1,350 seems like a joke for Saiyans.

This was again stated in the SaibaMan description.

They possess only enough intelligence to understand orders, and equipped with a battle power of 1,200, which rivals that of a lowest-level warrior.

so 2

How high do you think the average level'd be?

For low-class, mid-class & elite?

I never understood the whole ranking for Lower to Elite Class Saiyans, I never understood whether it was their power that ranked them or their power at birth. Vegeta and Nappa were considered elites and Vegeta referred to Goku as a lower class Saiyan even after watching him punk Nappa and eventually break his back. Vegeta up until the Namek Saga was the most powerful Saiyan and he held that title since he was a child.

Lower Class Saiyans I guess average out around Raditz' level
Middle Class if there is such a thing I'd say around 2-3 thousand
Elite Class Saiyans maybe 4,000 or above.

The whole ranking thing is confusing to me.

Raditz was probably even embarrassingly low for low-class saiyans. The way it's said.

& Vegeta only calls Goku low-class because of his pride. He knows Goku surpassed him anyways.

Toriyama stated that there were only two "high-class" warriors, Vegeta and his father, along with like 10 mid-class warriors and the remaining Saiyans all classified as low-class. But as with most of modern Toriyama's faggoty explanations they fail to sufficiently explain why Nappa derides Kakarot as "low-class" when Toriyama claims he's the same class as Raditz himself, other than that he's perhaps only the highest-ranked among low-classes (which still makes this ironic as hell to say, in any case). More likely, Toriyama forgot most of the shit Nappa and Vegeta said (this's much more believable in my opinion)

OK.

Found it. Google'd some key-words. Here you go.

Interviewer said:
About how high was Bardock’s battle power, ultimately? (In Episode of Bardock) Also, if he hadn’t been defeated by Freeza and had continued his growth, about how strong would he have gotten?

Akira Toriyama said:
To be honest, I haven’t thought it through that far, but Bardock is a low-class warrior. Although even saying that, almost all [Saiyans] were low-class warriors, and there were only about 10 mid-class warriors. And when you get to the elite warriors, there’s only King Vegeta and Prince Vegeta. Bardock is in the upper ranks as far as low-class warriors go, but he isn’t able to become a mid-class warrior.
This rank is determined by an innate latent battle power, but naturally, if their battle power rises greatly afterward, they can be promoted.

Hmm, that's weird. In that interview Toriyama says that Bardock even after his Zenkai wasn't powerful enough to be considered a mid-class Saiyan, but wasn't it stated that his power level rivaled King Vegeta?

I'm just going to ignore :troll and say my opinion on the matter.

I always thought of it as a bloodline thing. The chosen bloodlines were considered Elite, and those chosen by the elite were the privileged middle class warriors who served the royalty.

Everyone else is the low class warriors.

And considering Tarble's origin (yes, I'm going there ;) ) and the general lifestyle of the Saiyans, I always figured the Elites would kill or exile the weaker family members. Taking into account Broli's story too, King Vegeta probably did the same to any non-elites who threatened the nobility.

Planet Vegeta was newly established, relatively speaking, for the Saiyans. So they were very likely in the process of still establishing the order and hierarchy of the families there. Manipulated the race so that only the Royal family appeared the most powerful simply due to their genes.

So yeah l0l. Lot's of non-canon stuff here, but I don't care. AT throws everything out the window, so I can pull from the movies if I want.

But that's the story I put together in my head. Sort of like space eugenics.

The TOEI anime special said that. Toriyama's version of Bardock (from DB Minus) isn't stated to rival the King. So it would seem his version disregards the anime special.

Iirc, that comparison statement to the King was dub-exclusive anyway.

As for rankings, Toriyama did say in one of the Chozenshuu interviews that Raditz was an elite, but since this is new Toriyama, I take that as just being his contradictive self.

Lower Class = 1,200 minimum, essentially Raditz tier. Upper-Low Classes are probably around the 2-3k mark, maybe a little higher.
Mid Class = About Nappa tier, so about 4-8k
Elite = Anything higher.

Nappa said he was an elite. I think it's more like...

Weak Saiyans: 1500 or less
Normal Saiyans: 1500-2500
Strong Saiyans: 2500-3500
Elite Saiyans: 3500-10.000
Super Elite Saiyans: 10.000 or more
