Bardock was said to have a power level close to 10K which is exactly where Goku from Saiyan arc belongs. Goku can't use spirit bomb and Kaioken here.

Being close to 10k makes it a greater estimation of his power than 9k or 8k, the latter being where Goku falls into. Bardock wins unless Goku is able to use the Taiyoken effectively enough to wear him down by attacking when his guard's down.

Kaioken Goku wasn't considered a rival to Vegeta so Goku couldn't have been anymore than slightly over 8k. I would put him at 8,100 which is not close to 10k. Bardock wins.

Actually, the gap between Goku vs Cell was about 88-90% imo, Bardock's almost 10k so I think giving him anywhere between 9,500-9,800 is warranted that's at least an 85% gap, if not more. Goku may hold his own but he's certainly not winning.

So Goku is at a melee power and speed disadvantage, but his ranged attacks are much better. This could be an interesting, tactical fight, the kind you don't often see in Dragon Ball.

I think it's the opposite. Bardock did a big deal about his attack IIRC.
