Base Gohan (Boo saga) > Kaioshin?

Kaioshin told Gohan that multiples Kaioshins failed to pull out the Z-sword, and then he asks Gohan to do it, who first tried in base. If he were weaker than Kaioshin in base, he'd be an idiot for even trying to pull out it in this form. I know having base Saiyans > Kaioshin is hard with Kaioshin > Piccolo, but that's what is implied.

Base Saiyans > Piccolo is completely ludicrous when Piccolo was able to hold his own against his Cell Jr.

I can't make heads or tails of Kaioshin's and Piccolo's strength compared to the Base Saiyans. Although Base Saiyans > Kaioshin > Piccolo seems to be implied, that is extremely hard to work with when Piccolo, who was already on par with 17, is described as reaching a completely new level (at minimum, let's say 16) However, the base kids, who can spar near evenly with Gohan, are implied to be around 18's level, which basically nullifies Base Saiyans > Piccolo right there.

It's such sloppy writing I can't even be bothered with it anymore.

Just go with the logical option of Piccolo > Base Saiyans > Kaioshit. :king

He also expected Pocus to be able to handle the Saiyans, his judgement is irrelevant imo.

It's really hard to judge Piccolo in the Boo Saga due to the terribad writinguez. He is strong enough to hold his own against the Cell Jrs. back in the Cell Games, where he was a lot weaker according to Toriyama, and if we go by the theory that he is not talking about his hierarchy then he is weaker than Kaioshin who is implied to be weaker than Base Vegeta...and the same Kaioshin also seems to think Base Vegeta > SSj2 Gohan.

It's such terrible writing. Toriyama really wanted to get it over with, huh?

He also thought the Base Saiyans could fill Boo's remaining energy, when SSj2 Gohan didn't even fill half. :king

I suppose we could go with the Kabroom option, that Dabra somehow knew of there SSj transformation

Yeah either way you'll end up with something that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I think Babidi/Dabra were simply trash at estimating.

What if Dabra could sense their latent potentials? The three of them(Gohan, Goku and Vegeta) had "marvellous energy" aka potential to be used on Boo, while Piccolo and Krillin were already hitting a wall so their potential was not enough to be significant for Boo...that's the only theory that i can think to make sense of the statements without making Piccolo weaker than Base Saiyans.

But anyway you look at it, Babidi's Ship and Tournament were all big bubbles of clusterfuck with all the Base Vegeta > SSj2 Gohan and Piccolo < Kaioshin implications lol

Even if he can sense their latent potential, why does he send out Pocus?

He obviously thought PuiPui had the gravity advantage. After all, he said so himself the environment gives him the edge :troll

That's what many fans seem to be against lol. I've literally seen people who put GENKAI from YYH above Base Goku due to the fact she can lift over 40 tons effortlessly

Even though pre Android arc Base Vegeta trained in 300x gravity, which made him weigh 18 tons, Boo Saga Base Goku can't even move with 40 tons of weights on him.

I remember Simplexible saying Toguro was stronger than Ultimate Gohan. :king

I think I remember Raizen >>>> all of DBZ being considered factual back in the day because of some throwaway statement of him being able to shake the entirety of Makai with his stomach growls (despite them actually only being heard after Yusuke sprinted near his location) :king

I never found this argument convincing to be honest. The Cell Juniors know how to hold back.

I have Kaioshin > base Boo arc Saiyans > Piccolo. That's what the feats give me. Forget statements, they're too contradictory in the Boo arc. base Saiyans > Piccolo is from Super with RoF Gohan

They didn't hold back with Yamcha or Tenshinhan. No reason to hold back with Piccolo. It's a clear sign he is not as weak as some people think he is.
