Pre ROSAT Gotenks vs Hatchiyack. Who wins?
Captain Cadaver said:Gotenks stomps. As arrogant as he was and the gag aside, the fact he still somehow managed to survive a showdown with Boo as well as Kuririn not siding against his confidence suggest he ought to be at least of Majin Vegeta's level if not significantly above it. Hatchiyack's feats don't point to him needing to be vastly above the likes of FP Perfect Cell, so this is a pretty big stomp even if Hatchiyack can go into his super form.
Shin wasn't proving an active obstacle in Boo having fun or doing much more than trying to defend Gohan compared to Gotenks actively coming to challenge him, so I doubt he'd be as playful in both scenarios.GreatSaiyaman123 said:Even Kaioshin survived a fight with Boo though. And of course Kuririn would side with Gotenks, Goku told him Gotenks could beat Majin Boo.

Kuririn would have little reason to just trust in Goku if Gotenks' Ki didn't stack up to scrutiny. He could sense his Ki and has sensed Vegeta's, with Boo's Ki being notoriously difficult to properly gauge to the point he wouldn't factor it in. Gotenks' Ki would have to at least surpass Vegeta's for him to have any confidence in him.
The version of Boo Dabura fought was weaker than that who wrecked Vegeta and Gotenks, and Boo only treat Vegeta slightly serious with the Angry Explosion. Unlike with Vegeta, Boo had been given notice that someone stronger than Goku would show up, making him less inclined to mess about to a similar extent against a new challenger.GreatSaiyaman123 said:Talking about people challenging, that’s exactly what Dabra and Vegeta did, and they also had their chances to run away. Gotenks doesn’t really have to be stronger to replicate this feat.
Kuririn is trusting of Goku, but not blindly loyal. He provided his own rationale and reasoning for siding with Goku on how to deal with Gero rather than automatically agreeing to Goku's logic and, for what Super is worth, had some conflict with Goku keeping him in the dark on the ToP's nature. Yes, Gotenks' confidence had some sway in his assessment, but he didn't treat it as the sole factor and would be acting out of character if he did.Kuririn would have all the reasons in the world to trust Goku because everyone trusts Goku. Gotenks hadn’t even started fighting or turned into a SSJ yet, and Kuririn specifically said he was only confident because Gotenks was.
