Best Pre-Budokai Era Game

As many of us know, Dragon Ball games before the revolutionary first Budokai game had a less than favorable reputation of being little more than low-quality cash-ins with quality generally ranging from mediocre to pure shit (looking at you Final Bout).

Which game do you think was the best of the worst?

super butouen 2 from what I've seen and my limited playing experience of that, hyper dimension and the French one. SB2 has a strong soundtrack.

edit: if we're including non-fighters I'd definitely say Legendary Super Warriors on GBC. It's still a pretty unique game today and the simple audio has a nice charm to it. The script translation combined with censorship is near enough atrocious though.

Since the only pre-Budokai DB Games I played were Final Bout and Legacy of Goku, I'd have to go with one of them. Honestly, I'd probably go with Final Bout, since for me, the first LoG game was ridiculously underwhelming, especially with 0 post-game possibilities. Final Bout at least had good ost going for it, I guess.

Hyper Dimension and the like were alright. Better than Final Bout at least.

Final Bout was fun for every reason other than the game. I remember I had a weird import copy, and had to use a mod chip and swap disks half way through loading just to play it on my PS1. Made me feel like I was an electronic outlaw.

Though there isn't a veriety to choose from i would say SB2.

Huh, usually, I think of refried beans as looking like the ones in that picture I posted. The one on Wikipedia looks paler than Im used to.
