I've been reading the Boo saga again and just been thinking about more stuff.
Why are Bobbidi's henchmen unable to be sensed? The most logical answer is that Bobbidi's spell prevents this, but Vegeta seemed to be the only exception. Vegeta was a fresh recruit, along with the fact that he wasn't under Bobbidi's complete control. I feel like those reasons might've factored into him still having the same Chi despite being possessed. Dabra, Pui-Pui, and Yakon seemed to have been under Bobbidi's control for a much a longer period, so it's possible that the spell just made their natural Chi vanish.
We see that Pui-Pui fought Vegeta on his planet for the 10x gravity advantage, and that Yakon fought on the dark planet for the advantage of darkness. From what's shown, the fight with Dabra appears to be taking place in some demonic world or something. Not really sure, but we know it wasn't on Earth. Any particular advantage Dabra could've gained from here? Or is it possible that it was just a matter of changing the scenery for the hell of it? I always liked this concept during this sequence. Too bad it ended up being useless.
Roshi was shown saying this immediately after the scene of Dabra confronting the others in Bobbidi's ship:
What was he sensing?
