Should I watch it, yes, no, maybe?

It doesn't have to be good, just something that would be somewhat entertaining for when I'm bored.

Boku no Hero Academia's easily the most generic and overrated Shonen out there with the possible exception of Black Clover. Wouldn't even recommend it as dumb fun considering there's plenty of better Shonen that can fill that job.

Wish it really did combine with Boku no Pico. At least that would make it infinitely more entertaining.

Basically every tired Shonen trope of annoyance rolled into one series, brought together by a protagonist even more annoying than most. Essentially a worse version of Fairy Tail.

Boku no Hero has a couple of decently written characters (Midoriya and Todoroki). Midoriya can be annoying to me, but he's actually an intelligent and insightful goody-two-shoes, unlike most shonen main protagonists. If you want some mindless fun, with the occasional tension, then go for it.

Worth noting as well, that Boku no Hero probably has a long way to go, so is probably going to get more complex. It's in its East Blue stage, if you will.
