IMO The character themes are the only good tracks from Bruce Faulconer. Everything else is forgettable at best.

Yeah, agreed.

Plus, Bruce Faulconer didn't actually compose all of those, you know. He had a team of people writing and composing the stuff. Since he's the figurehead of that division, he gets the credit. Apparently just like Shuki Levy for the old Ocean dub stuff. It would be kind of like giving credit to Stan Lee for the writing, casting, acting, and scoring of the Marvel movies.

For example, here's a sample of who's really behind the music:

In fact, I'm led to believe that it's Julius Dobos who actually did that theme song, as he worked on the Boo arc music.

Plus, even then, only several of them stand out as being anything special.

Oh god, Faulconer's score was terrible. It would've been more tolerable had they decided to not constantly play music in every scene. Every single damn scene.

Yeah, I agree about the "every scene" comment. I find that my biggest gripe with the Faulconer score was how it sounded -- like it was done on a keyboard that you would buy a child from a toy store (I mean seriously, those drum beats...). But as far as the action scenes where there was fighting or character themes, I generally liked those. What I couldn't stand at all was that in-between music that constantly played when nothing big was happening (like Goten and Trunks running around, etc.).

Yeah, that "every scene" soundtracks were horrible especially during Vegeta's final atonement IMO. The scene was completely ruined until the "Vegeta learned Future Trunks is his son" theme started when Piccolo and Krillin were about the escape.
