JJ basically said he had no interest in Tom because "beating him would be the same as beating Cyril Gane, people would dismiss it afterwards and nothing changes for me. Alex has many accolades and financially also make sense for me to risk it all, fighting Tom would be the same as after Gane, nothing changes..."
