Have any of you heathens read or watched this before? I am on chapter 16 and am enjoying it so far. The art seems top notch, and I like the premise if the story, even if it is a cliche.

Just seems like another SAO with just as inconsistent and bland characters, except even more inconsistent in regard to what it wants the viewer to take seriously.

I watched the 12 ep anime and would say it's worth seeing. It's a battle royale style show, as mentioned, but it's unique due to the weapons. The anime ends at a well-chosen part of the manga. Opening song is lit, for me.

I mean if any of that was actually true maybe. Sounds like the template for SAO hate on the internet to me. It's not a harem series, kirito isn't a hacker. And regardless the comment was about the characters being inconsistent.

A good portion of the series is spent around Kirito bringing more and more girls into the main group and each one being romantically focused on him. Harem 101.

If you build up a protagonist as an average joe only to make him a Gary Stu with unrealistic, unfair advantages over the other characters, it isn't consistent.

Jack actually liked Btoom if I recall.

I ain't big on it but if you have fun with the battles then might as well keep up with it. I couldn't really get into them pulling shit like "oh shit how u live?", "I just grabbed the bomb and threw it off me at the very last second."

About Snob. Last I checked a lot of my opinions lined up with his for whatever that's worth but I remember never liking him much as a reviewer, but it's been like 4 years so I can't expound on that any further. I definitely still hate his editing style :shit
