Now that the initial hype blew over, which is the pinnacle of Dragon Ball fighting games?
Budokai 3
+More complex combo system (different combo setups on normals, varying inputs for each character, no autocombos)
+Better roster (covers all of Dragon Ball with the core characters and more plus no "clones")
+Better single-player content (Dragon Universe and Dragon Arena never get boring)
+/-Resource management is more important
-Dragon Rush.
-Hyper Mode is useless trash
FighterZ
+No useless gimmicks that slow down gameplay
+Stronger pedigree
+More character diversity and balance
+Better graphics (partly due to being newer but mostly because it doesn't reuse the same attack animations for every character)
+/- Easier-to-learn, even harder-to-master combo system
-Mediocre single-player content
-Faulty netcode
-Some questionable roster choices (Bluku and Blugeta as separate characters but no #17?!)
