Can kaioken be an additive boost?

Is it ever specifically mentioned that it multiplies the power by a factor equal to the spoken kaioken level? I think,
at Saiyans saga, Goku just said his stats 'go zoom'. Statements such as 'using kaioken to threefold' might just
mean that the threefold kaioken is three times greater a boost than the basic kaioken not that it actually triples
the strength.
I have considered making a list where each additional kaioken level adds a certain amount of power. For instance,
at Saiyans Saga, each kaioken level adds 5000...

-kaioken: 13.000
-kaioken 2: 18.000
-kaioken 3: 23.000

Vegeta: 19.500 (It's been a long time since Dodoria met him; he might have gained some power.)

Goku ouright says it multiplies a user's power and speed and the Daizenshuu makes it apparent Kaioken and Kaioken x2 are the same thing, so no.

It's clearly stated to double, so no.

Beyond that, all the power levels given with and around kaio-ken usage add up to the stated multiplications.

No, just no. Goku had been testing it out prior to being 8,000. If it was addition then he would have known that before directly stating that it multiplies his power.
