He could sense Beerus iirc. I don't think being fused with Kibito would've aided that ability, since Kibito's even more of a dumb fuck in that area than Kaioshits.

Well, while I watching Boo VS Basil, Kaioshin's reaction when Buu got beat up even though Buu was just lettling himself get ragdolled like that.

Context: Supreme Kai is amazed to see Basil defeats Buu
Supreme Kai: "I can't believe that Majin Buu could be taken down so easily!"

Then I thought to myself that there are lot of examples that shows Kaioshin is shit on sensing from Boo arc itself.

Chapter: 450 (DBZ 256), P2.5, P3.5
Context: after Vegeta and Goku talk about Dabra not being that great
Kaioshin: “Un-unbelievable. Is this ‘Super Saiyan’ thing really this great?...Come to think of it, it was quite hard to stop Son Gohan from moving after he became a Super Saiyan…And even that might not have been his full power…”

He can't even tell how strong the Base Saiyans are compare to Pui Pui and Yakon too and all Vegeta need to do is to raise his effort to destroy Pui-Pui.

Context: after Goku kills Yakon

About Babidi's ship, remember they can't sense Yamu and Spopovich's Chi. If they can't sense those two, why would them be able to sense the others Babidi's Henchmen? Notice that Goku and Vegeta estimate Dabura's power by feats, not sensing.

I don't see what the Z Sword dialogue has to do with Shin's sensing. It proves the opposite for me, since he says he powered up a lot. He just don't know if Gohan can beat Buu or not.
