Can Mihawk beat an Admiral?

Pretty certain he could, just because Rayleigh's swordmanship~=~Kizaru's general power. That abd llot-wise if Zoro is always a bit behind Luffy and Luffy will surpass the admirals I find it hard to imagine that Zoro won't end up stronger than an admiral so Mihawk must be stronger than an admiral, unless Zoro is going to surpass Mihawk to a ridiculous degree (like a baws).

Reason 1:

Mihawk is the WSS in a manga with Shanks, Fujitora, and Rayleigh.

Reason 2:

He is Zoro's final enemy. Mihawk is a dude Zoro will fight after Zoro is done with Fujitora. And Luffy >= Zoro.

Rayleigh/Shanks/Fujotira aren't primary swordsman. The first two are just haki masters, and the last being a primary devil fruit user.

Mihawk's strength mostly comes from being Shanks' rival early on. There's no reason to believe that Shanks completely outstripped Mihawk from their days.

Haki is a swordsman primary tool (other than the sword obv).

With that logic there is only 2 strong swordsman in the entire manga. Mihawk and Zoro lol

It's more secondary to the sword. WB can easily be a swordsman too, and if he fought and beat Mihawk that would disprove the entire thing (using WB because he's the only one 100% stated to be stronger than him and anyone else).

So far we only have Zoro, Vista, Mihawk, the Samurai, +Wano who are shown to be primary swordsman. When someone is primarily a swordsman it's made really obvious like with Vista.

So do you honestly think Oda doesn't consider Shanks, Rayleigh, Fujitora, Law, etc as swordsman?

And haki is a primary tool for swordsman. CoA is what they use to kepp their swords from being cut, "a cut on a swords is a swordsman's shame"

World's Strongest Swordsman leaves no room for "most skilled". The Japanese is Sekai (world) Saiyko (Strongest) no Kenshi (Swordsman). The same thing as WB's title besides Kenshi.

Kuina's inability to be the WSS because she was a girl would make no sense if it meant skilled

I think Mihawk is Admiral's level, it could go either way.

He didn't appear to be admiral tier in the Paramount War, but it could be chalked up to him only testing his opponents in that battle I guess.

Yeah I don't think he fought serious at all. He should be stronger than Doflamingo by a considerable amount and yet the latter showed better feats than him, no?
