Can Piccolo survive from Chaoutzu's self destruction?

Wasn't Nappa at 4k when Chiaotzu self destruct? If so, Piccolo can survive with some damage.

Piccolo seemed convinced the attack had taken Nappa down as well until the dust cleared. That said, he shouldn't be able to survive it unless it leaves him in a state where he can regenerate.

His self destruct seemed pretty weak to me honestly.

Piccolo was impressed he killed himself to try to take nappa out. But I don't really think he thought it worked.

He was definitely shocked when Nappa turned out alright, though. That doesn't mean he expected Nappa to be dead, but he clearly expected him to be hurt at least.

Yeah, Piccolo mentioned something like "that midget had some balls" and then was shown with an angry face when he saw Nappa uninjured after the smoke cleaned up. Whilst we don't have a comment coming from him in which he clearly expressed surprise at Nappa surviving (we have Kuririn saying "it isn't possible, so Chaozu sacrificed himself for nothing?"), I think it shows he at least didn't expect Nappa to go out uncastched.

I highly doubt that. Piccolo is far from a naive optimist.

It seems weird to me that Piccolo wouldn't be able to survive an attack of less than 2800 points, but that's what is implied.
