but mewtwo can just use water fang to destroy charizard's tail and deplete his life force and absorb blastoise to strengthen his teeth

Mewtwo should be more than capable of one shotting Blastoise with Thunder -take some damage from Charizard and resume to one shot him with the exact same move.

Yeah a crit would kill. Seems awfully convenient. Only a 1% chance of both hitting a thunder and getting a crit. Even though blastoise could just protect that turn.

Mewtwo's megas are outclassed by the Life Orb variant, which is why I gave it the Life Orb.

Mega Mewtwo X is even worse. None of the moves on its set can OHKO Blastoise. Even if you run Thunder Punch for Blastoise specifically:

252+ Atk Mega Mewtwo X Thunder Punch vs. 184 HP / 0 Def Mega Blastoise: 206-244 (59.7 - 70.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
