Cell, and Gohan V Pure Boo

Cell is Super Perfect and Gohan is SSJ2 (Cell Games), the two of them know they have to work together to hope to defeat Pure Boo. Battle takes place on the Supreme Kai's world.

If Vegeta who is stronger than them can't take Boo out, then what are the chances of the duo making it? Beside, it will take a Spirit Bomb level to completely eliminate Boo and I doubt Cell can gather that much since the people of Earth wouldn't listen to him of course.

If Piccolo made it apparent the combined efforts of SS2 Goku, Vegeta and Gohan would make no difference against Fat Boo, then the combined efforts of two fighters weaker than Goku against a stronger Boo are even more pointless. The only thing stopping this from being an unarguable stomp are Cell's Zenkais and Gohan's rage boosts, both of which are far too random a factor to take into account.
