Change up to three statements/facts (Early DB version)

Make Early DB PLs work by changing up to three things.

Work with scouters levels? Oh boy, you are in trouble.

1) King Piccolo using less than half his power against Goku is going to have to go. If it was his full power, we might have a chance.

2) Piccolo and Goku being so overpowered in the 23rd Budokai. Piccolo says any numbers of humans cannot do anything to him. That's absurd.

3) Goku multiplying his strength to post Korin trained.


With those three gone, DB levels can more or less work.

No, I think Krillen is right at that level. I think Krillen vs Piccolo Junior (Initial) is essentially Krillen vs Piccolo Daimao. Krillen is right there, but not quite there.

How much so? I have Goku (vs PD) at 83% of Goku (Weighted) 23rd Budokai.

Considering that Tien considers Goku's previous power all but perfect, even marginal improvements to it would be believable and impressive to Tien. If you've paid attention, nearly every Budokai starts off with everyone not expecting Goku to improve upon his previous ultra impressive strength.

Goku's speed has not changed, or if it has, it has not changed significantly. When we see Tien (Full Speed) vs Goku, we can see that sure, Tien has a good advantage in the speed department, but it is not as tremendous as what you are saying suggests. Or what we interpret Tien's statement "so far above your previous power" to mean. It's quite possible that Tien would consider a 1.2x increase to be "so far above his nearly perfect strength".

So all in all, yes I have to say, I'm quite comfortable with that placement. If Tien is balanced with speed and power, it shows that there is not a massive gap between them. Tien vs Goku mimics Goku vs Cell or Goku vs Zarbon. The gap is not that huge.

lol there is only 3 Tournaments. They all have a low opinion of Goku if that is so, considering Krillin, Yamcha and Roshi at the 22nd had all far surpassed their 21st selves. Ten, Krillin, Yamucha of the Sahara and Chaozu also are all far ahead of their 22nd selves during the 23rd.

Let me ask you this, did you think Krillin, Yamcha and Roshi were all above RRA Goku when they were coming into the 22nd?

Yes. In DB world a 1.2x boost should be considered, far, far above. From what I can see. If a 1.1x boost is a step or two ahead, a 1.2x is far ahead for sure.

Yep. They are clearly lying to themselves, but that's the story. They are trying to promote confidence within themselves. They are only marginally stronger than Goku was against Baba's warriors, so they can either have zero hope or falsely pretend Goku hasn't gotten much better.

Goku can one shot a guy who can one shot a guy who is about his level against Tao. How big of a gap are those one shots? 1.5x at least? What's the gap between Krillen/General Blue/Goku? 1.33x?
