Chrollo vs Hisoka

Did you guys like the fight? I found Chrollo new designer very bad.

Yeah Chrollo looked retarded with the new face of his. I could foresee Hisoka's defeat with the amount of abilities Chrollo spammed though.

The new look was weird. Good thing he has his old look back now...face is still off a little bit.

The fight was fine, probably a bit much. I don't like that it just happened suddenly, no build up, no segue.

It was just a set-up for Togashi to actually resolve the Phantom Troupe storyline before he turns 65 with his hiatuses I reckon

@Kyo - did Togashi change Chrollo's designer to his old one? I don't remember to see a difference.

I didn't like the idea of Hisoka reviving, I'd like to him stay dead. Besides, why did he want revenge against the Phantom Troupe? Only because he lost to Chrollo?

I think he wants to fight Chrollo again without the Phantom Troupe members to lend him their abilities. I don't think he's the type to hold a grudge over a defeat.

Well he did say Chrollo with his advantages was far too much, and he wants his opponents to be the ones without a choice or whatever. The Phantom Troupe have been a nuisance preventing him from fighting Chrollo 1 on 1 since early in the series, too.

So do you think he wants to kill the Phantom Troupe only for the sake of fighting Chrollo again? If they fought again who do you think would win?

It really depends if Hisoka's temporary death strengthened his Nen or not, and if Chrollo still has access to the Nen abilities given by Cortupi and Shalnark. In any case, I have a feeling the ball'll be in Hisoka's favor next time, personally. Hisoka having any resentment also seems odd since he didn't get angry at Kurapika ruining his shot at battling Chrollo in Yorkshin too.

I found odd how Hisoka managed to kill Shalnark so easily.

For real? I mean yeah Killua said Pitou's nen was greater than that of Illumi and Hisoka, but Hisoka and Chrollo are just brilliant fighters.

No, Shalnark had his nen. He only hadn't his special ability.

Pitou had Nen naturally since birth. She used Pokkle to tell them about the basics and principles of Nen. She had Nen at the time, but no Hatsu.

With preparations, I can see Chrollo potentially winning against Pitou. The Hisoka we know would lose. We don't know how Hisoka in his current state with his mindset would fair against Pitou.
