Cue CC comparing it to some anime from the 1940s.
Basically a Legend of the Galactic Heroes/Universal Century Gundam fanfic if it was written by a 10 year old. The main character's essentially a copy of Reinhard von Lohengramm/Char Aznable who gets by purely on hax superpowers rather than actual intelligence and makes both ridiculous oversights and contradictive character decisions as the series goes on (waiting until R2 to perform the "make everyone my slave" command instead of doing it ASAP, still fighting after believing his sister to be dead even though she was the pure reason for his campaign, etc.). I can at least say the first season was tolerable as dumb fun and a hackneyed tribute to Sunrise's far better mecha series, but the second season's abysmal writing was pretty inexcusable and the only thing to keep you watching would be Norio Wakamoto's performance as Charles vi Britannia (Rrrrrrerrushu!).
Moral of the story, just watch LoGH or the first Gundam series/movie trilogy.
