Trunks oneshotting Freeza is brought up no less than three times as a benchmark, with no comment being made about how it was purely due to Freeza being suppressed. The narrative definitely seemed to be painting the picture he could oneshot Freeza in general.
It could also be logically deduced that Freeza's Ki blast was at his full power and the lack of visible GAINZ might have been due to his cybernetics allowing him to use 100% of his power without the stamina problems as he does in Super. It would be pretty dumb of him to hold back in the face of a Super Saiyan, after all.

It's possible, but I don't necessarily think so. I think all that's implied is it would be an easy fight to win.

Are the conditions still the same? As in, still getting Freeza of guard and slicing him with the sword? If so, definitely. Otherwise I’m not sure. Freeza may block/dodge the blade if he’s on guard.

I wonder about that too, but if he was significantly suppressed I feel as though someone would have pointed out if his ki skyrocketed. But yea, I definitely don't think he could bulk up after getting his cybernetic attachments.

Why wouldn't Freeza buff up with the cybernetics?

Freeza's not fully mechanic though.

You know, this got me wondering on how exactly Freeza's enhancements work. As in, why does the addition of some mechanical prothesis makes him stronger? Since he's basically a Cyborg would FP Freeza have more Ki, or would his Ki feel the same, à lá 17 and 18?

I'm combing the Daizenshuu currently, but I haven't found any info on any of these things yet. I have found some interesting stuff about the Cell Saga though.

Even if furiza wasn't suppressed I doubt he'd be anywhere close to trunks, just like Furiza on namek wasn't anywhere close to goku.

Hey SuperSaiyan2 Captain Cadaver if even the material of the armor Freeza and co. wear can expand, why not the metal in his body?

Wasn't that the narrative of that fight? Like here, this Super Saiyan dude who can one shot Freeza is helpless against the freaking Androids. :troll

Frieza's failure was a result of his carelessness and lack of intel; denying the idea of Trunks being a real threat and then fighting with emotional investment when he's shown to be better than expected. 100% power or not, having that mentality against a formidable opponent carries a risk of being caught slipping and then handled accordingly; perhaps not in one-shot, but quickly. The Goku/Piccolo Daimao rematch in the original DB illustrated that evenly matched fighters can cause great damage to one another in mere moments when left vulnerable.

Funny thing is that's what led to Goku's victory on Namek as well. He had the power to kill Goku in a couple blows all along, but ultimately Goku became a SSJ and defeated him, what also led to Freeza being cut in half since he couldn't accept he lost.

Yes; simply because Trunks was at least as powerful as Freeza and could sense ki in combat while Freeza could not.
