It's quite good for the first 26-27 episodes and definitely stands out as unique amongst other series of the Shonen demographic. After that, it quickly takes a nosedive in quality, though at least not as badly as most other Shonen after a timeskip.

E3 ending was very interesting IMO. Trading Shinigami's eyes for half of your life is very scary, I wouldn't go that far if I'm in his place. mg

That was a brilliant plan by Yagami. Forcing the FBI to expose himself and also killing the robber with the dead note at the same time. Looking forward to watch more of this...

I'm done watching episode 5. It has been great so far and damn, he just killed the entire FBI groups in Japan just like that. Is it just me or does anyone find these dialogues cheesy? mg

Damn, that FBI's fiance is freaking smart to came that conclusion.

That took a lot of time but in the end Yagami was just a step ahead than that FBI chick who probably committed a suicide. Still this was an intense episode especially when he introduced himself to her, kudos to that anime track.
