Did Cell get a Zenkai from his fight with Vegeta?

I mean....it's possible right?
Semi-Perfect Cell got rekt by Vegeta and then Perfect Cell got half of his body blown up by Final Flash...
Then again that might mean he got a zenkai after regenerating from Goku's Warp Kamehameha also.....
Perhaps because he isn't a real Saiyan he only gets a zenkai boost from being insanely near death....
what do you guys think?

Cell can re-generate, though, so I assume it knows that he can and there-fore unless for Cell's standards he really is near-death it won't work.

I'd say that Cell's near death is when he is reduced to a few cells.

If he didn't get it after Goku blew up half his body or when Gohan beat the shit out of him and nearly wiped him out with that Kamehameha, he wouldn't have gotten it here.

I mean the FP Cell that power ups against Gohan. What if his power is because of a [supposedly] Zenkai after he took the Kamehameha?

Then he'd have noted he got a zenkai just like he did later when he returned after exploding. Instead he completely lost it and regressed to mimicking Trunks' vastly obsolete SSJg3 form and ended up losing #18. No reason to drag zenkais into situations where they're not in the least bit implied.
