Did Doflamingo care for his executive members?

Or was him just using them to his own convenience? Trebol stated that, amongst the Executives and Dofy there's equality and that Dofy has a high consideration for them, whilst Law pretty much called Trebol a doll for believing and that, from his POV Doflamingo was just controlling them like a puppet, kind of implying he doesn't give a shit about them and only puts up that "I care for you guys, we are family" speech so they'd stay with him and do what he wishes.

Absolutely. You could tell when he was talking to Vergo and Monet.

That's a good point and I was thinking precisely about this. Even when Vergo and Monet were defeated and useless, Dofy didn't bash them and instead thanked his two subordinates for all they've done (Vergo, at least). But again, he didn't hesitate in exploding Punk Hazard when that'd mean the sure death of his most valorous subordinate, and later on we have Law calling Trebol a puppet.

That doesn't mean he doesn't care about them. The crew had a mutual goal of making him the Pirate King, so they were willing to put their lives on the line for him.

True, but Luffy's crew also has the goal of making him the Pirate King and Zoro was even willing to give away his life for this (even though they also have their own goals, yeah) and yet the thought of killing a member of his crew to make the path for the One Piece easier would probably not even cross Luffy's mind.

Yes, but Doflamingo and his crew have completely different ideals than the StrawHatCrew. To them, that is the best way they can serve the master.

I think what's different between the crews ideals is Luffy and Doflamingo's views on their crews. The Straw Hats, at least Zoro and Sanji, thought they should give their life to Luffy too.

Doflamingo indeed cares for his crew based on his last words to Monet and Vergo, which he wouldn't bother with if they were completely expendable, as well as him harming one of his fodder members for laughing at Pica's voice and telling the pirate not to disrespect his family. The difference between he and Luffy lies in Doffy being far more realistic in his goals and acknowledging that some sacrifices are necessary to achieve his goals, whereas Luffy is overly idealistic and seemingly believes he can become the Pirate King without losing anything, even after he was proven wrong at Marineford.
