Did Goku use kaioken against No Hands Freeza?

Yeah, I think the fact that he doesn't have any aura for the entire chapter barring flight auras is telling enough that it isnt Kaioken, especially now that the colors are out.

Well the problem was always he hardly had an aura at all most of the time he fought. He only had aura one time when fighting 50% frieza at all. He only had an aura twice when fighting no hands furiza. The only time he has a consistent aura is when he uses kaio-ken x 20, and he says he's going to use it before hand.

But the color page confirms something I've always argued against. Goku doesn't use kaio-ken until furiza uses 50% of his power.

In this picture, he has white pupils, which is a kaioken sign. I think the colorist is just dumb.

The pupils were always my reason for saying he used Kaio Ken here. Now, I'm not exactly sure.

I used to cite the pupils as reason for him using Kaio-ken too, but I'm fine with the color manga's take on it. The aura could've just been messing with how his eyes look, although that's a stretch. I figured he used it just to get the edge on Freeza momentarily, not to beat his ass the whole time, which is why he only used it like twice throughout.

If he went 2x greater than Freeza's suppression, Freeza wouldn't have the luxury of just standing there arms crossed.
