Did Piccolo realize Goku could defeat fat Boo?

I think Goku being able to defeat fat Boo as SSJ3 was already made clear before he flat out stated it later to Vegeta. What do you think?

Yes. It's clear with the way Piccolo talks that he knew Goku had the power to do it. He wouldn't have questioned him otherwise.

Yep, he knew that it has nothing to do with Goku's energy or stamina but for some dumb reason and the kids proves they can't be trusted for the fate of the universe.
