When he meditated after getting beat-up by full-power Goku at the 22nd Tenkaichi-Budokai?

Statements imply that too.

or was that anime-only???

or wat was it???

Must be anime only because I don't remember Tien meditating after the 22nd Budokai.

Like right after Goku used Full-Power, Tenshinhan calms-down & starts floating above ground, and then they start fighting again and are more even.

u knw wat i mean, right???

i mean right after goku used his battle-use power or something like that it was

he (goku) beat-up tenshinhan & after tenshinhan recovered he looked like he meditated

crane-hermit says something like "we'll see tenshinhan's true skill now"

I guess in the anime he must've, he also did slightly better than in the manga where Goku was consistently a bit ahead of him.

sry couldn't make a better screen-shot, but i mean something like this:

<div class='spoiler_toggle'>Spoiler: click to toggle</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;">
meditation_zpsznpweogq.jpg
</div>

then they fight again & they fight evenly

from episode 98

yeah in the manga that meditation scene is completely absent, as well as the scene where Tenshithands lets Goku beat the crap out of him for a while to make things even for Chaozu freezing him earlier. Goku and Ten also don't get a double knock-out for a bit, and Goku instead gains the upper hand near the end of the battle, forcing Ten to abandon his 4 arms and resort to the Kikoho.

that's kewl then

i was wondering, bcoz i thought it made sense. kind-of anyways.

so i guess when goku first went full-power, he jst was caught off-guard by him

but even in the anime it looked like goku was a bit stronger

1 of the main reasons being that tenshinhan starts resorting to using so many techniques & whenever it was a physical fight goku looked like he had the advantage

Yeah in the manga Tenshithands never really gets the drop on Goku except when he's not full power, and with the 4 arms for a bit before goku adjusts and beats him up. Anime-wise things are more even due to the added scenes, but Tenshithands admits inferiority nonetheless.
