DBS already just recolors SSJ1 and base on Photoshop and then adds a CG aura effect and calls it a new form every time
I think the gold/blond hair color is fine since even Pseudo SSJ from the Slug movie had a yellow aura. I kinda wish it was just yellow in SSJ1/grade forms and a fiery orange in SSJ2 (which it is sometimes, though not consistently at all) and then a deeper shade of gold in SSJ3.
This effectively sets up 1 as the lowest and most basic form, 2 as the fiery, hotheaded and fierce rage-infused form and SSJ3 as the pinnacle of the three
