Do you like the GX anime?

Title. I used to watch it as a kid and liked it primarily because of Judai's HERO cards. I also found it easier to follow than the original anime. I am considering rewatching it subbed since I've only seen it dubbed and haven't watched it in years. What do you guys think?

Yeah, it's pretty good and watchable. I remember watching it as a kid, then a few years ago I rewatched it. I remember as a kid I liked Jaden, but Chazz Princeton and Zane Truesdale are by far my favorites.

I like it up until somewhere in the second season when it starts to get darker and everybody except Jaden becomes irrelevant. I liked the easy-going environment of the first one and a half seasons.

Jaden's a pile of shit, though, regardless.

I could only tolerate about 5 episodes before dropping it. Not only is a school setting one of the most boring you can get, but the way in which Judai's strategy of simply focusing on buffing one card in the first episode as some amazing strategy was a major insult to my and the series' intelligence when even strategies from the first arc of the original series packed far more creativity.

At least the first Japanese ending theme is one of JAM Project's best songs.

I can definitely agree with the first paragraph but not second.

Also from else-where. Seems like the English dub was trying to intentionally be as hilarious as possible.
