Do you think AT originally intended to write a Goku/Bulma love story?

1. At 23rd TB, Bulma seems charmed by Goku in a panel.
2. In a page during Namek Saga, we see Bulma speaking to herself, admiring Goku,
regretting her relationship with Yamcha and wondering whether she chose the
wrong partner.

Yes, I know that, in the first case, AT was already planning a Goku/Chichi marriage story
(since that started just a few pages later) and, in the second case, that marriage had
materialized. But still, those panels might imply that AT did not originally intend to keep
Goku with Chichi permanently. Besides, Goku never seemed really interested in his wife,
having married her merely to keep his promise.
Maybe AT changed his mind after he considered that Vegeta was a better partner for
Bulma and Goku was too naive to get into a meaningful relationship with a woman.

No. Those statements were likely just ones to keep Bulma's character consistent, with her always wanting something better ever since the 21st TB Arc. It means nothing when not only were the 23rd TB thoughts constantly interrupted by the reality of Goku x Chichi soon after, but Bulma did absolutely nothing on Namek worth building up to it.

At best, it was to support the idea she and Yamcha wouldn't be together permanently, which makes sense for Toriyama to plan when Yamcha stopped having any relevance after his loss to Shen and most of his character traits got passed on to Kuririn from the Saiyan Arc and onward.

I never heard a rumor about this and also it seems to me that Goku/ChiChi is already locked since the beginning of DB IMO.
