Do you think that SSjin3 was mishandled?

When Goku transformed into SSJin3, the hype was huge since his ki catches Gohan, Kaioshin and Kibito's attention from another realm and almost destroy the Earth. Later, the arrival of Gotenks post ROSAT, Super Boo and Gohan made SSjin3 look shit compare to them. I blame Gotenks on this. :trump

SSJ3 was definitely mishandled. Unlike SSJ1 and SSJ2, it was never given any time to shine.
I agree, i think SuperSaiyan 3 is an unnatural ripped transformation could've been dived into much further & explored.

Here's a question though.
There's SuperSaiyan Grades right.

So why is SuperSaiyan 3 considered it's own transformation & not just another SuperSaiyan Grade?

At the very why not consider it a grade of AscendedSaiyan.

Other than the unexpectedly cool intro, it was dumb and completely unnecessary to begin with and never had any use to the plot.

I think it'd have been better if Goku had stalled Fat Buu as SSJ2 and only unlocked SSJ3 against Kid Buu,
becoming stronger than all the previous powers seen in the saga.

Stronger than the likes of Vegito/Boohan? That's weird.

The problem isn't SSJ3, it's the ridiculous bloat during the Fusion Saga. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad Ultimate Gohan and Vegetto exist so I can fanboy over their insane power, but that saga ran too long and had too many heroes. Really, if Super Buu had only been, say, twice as strong as a Super Saiyan 3 it wouldn't have changed the plot at all.

Well it kinda fits.
KidBuu is supposedly pure evil & spirit bomb is supposedly pure good energy, so it kinda fits.

This would have been much better but the Buu saga was the start of dragon ball's long losing streak.

I like how it was used in the Fusion Reborn movie if that counts for anything.
Goku got serious, turned SSJ3 and then completely wrecked Fat Janemba and it wasn't totally useless against Super Janemba.

Unlike SSJ1 and SSJ2, SSJ3 wasn't even introduced as the strongest power up to that
point, despite the cool intro. We already knew Gotenks would be stronger and the one
who was supposed to save the day.
