No Gohan in Cell, except for whatever Gohan inherited from Goku and the computer thought would be worth keeping.

Only in the dub, as far as it being mentioned. I wouldn't say it's out of the question though, considering Gero would have to be pretty dumb to not collect the cells of someone who could far surpass Galu when he's angry.

But Gero and Cell seems to have no idea about Gohan's hidden power which was pretty much displayed during the fight against Raditz and Vegeta/Nappa while that spy robot was there recording everything. It must be a plot for Gohan overcoming Cell IMO.

They still managed to collect data on the Zet-Senshi up until the Saiyan Arc, so it's very doubtful they wouldn't have seen his power on display, at least against Nappa or Vegeta, unless we're to believe Gero was so obsessed with Galu that he ignored common sense and only took data from battles in which Galu was actively involved.

Still, Cell has no idea about Gohan at all. He should have known Gohan's performances during the Saiyan Arc lol. It's definitely a poor writing from the GOAT that most of the fans tends to overlook.
