Does Grand Kai exist?

I read it somewhere when Piccolo thought that Mr. Shin is the Grand Kai.

I don't see why not. There's a Kaio everywhere else, so why not one more?

Piccolo suspects that Kaioshin was the Grand Kaio, which was probably Kami's influence. No reason to believe otherwise.

I assume because even though the Grand Kai only appears in the anime, the quote is from the Manga. The anime probably got the idea from that quote and expanded the character.

That doesnt matter, the manga was released before the anime was, therefore the anime got the idea from the manga.
