If Oozaru increased speed at all there's no way Goku would have survived one minute with Vegeta.

I think it stays the same. I think I remember it being said somewhere...

The only thing said is that Goku didn't expect Oozaru Vegeta to move so fast. Assuming weakened Vegeta was around 12k or so, he'd still be way faster than Goku if the speed increased as much as his power in Oozaru. His speed looked impressive for his size, but it doesn't look like anything special.

Also, Vegeta definitely wasn't playing around. He was trying to end Goku there.

It's really hard to tell honestly. Goku was so damn weak at that point even a kaio-ken didn't amount to any difference from his normal self.

I would say no, because vegeta was moving fast, but if he was ten times faster goku wouldn't have done as well as he did.

This, otherwise Vegeta choked harder than the Falcons.

As far as I know, it increases proportionally, but others have made good cases for it not. This is a good topic.

While I scoff at the claim that Oozaru multiplies the power by 10, Goku made it clear that it's at least stronger than his KKx5. I doubt that Oozaru's speed increases proportionally. Otherwise, the fight would have ended much sooner, with Vegeta being five times faster than Goku and all.

So if we removed Vegeta's line about it being 10x what would we say? It is a 5-7x boost or so?

Above 5x due to Goku saying KKx5 was useless.

Great Ape is a 5x boost.

Vegeta 18,000
~ Great Ape 90,000

Goku 8,000
~ KKx5 40,000

Problem?

Honestly, I'm going to go with this. Maybe... Great Ape not getting a speed boost seems retarded and 10x does seem way too much. Explain Buff Roshi and explain Great Ape Vegeta vs KKx2 Injured Goku.

I dont see a problem with the 10x multiplier tbh. Vegeta was so weakened from the consecutive strains of the 4xKK Kamehameha and creating the power ball that straight after being reverted to his base form he could be held at bay by freaking Gohan (who even when enraged couldn't injure Nappa), 10x that could easily be not incomparably higher than his healthy power.

It clearly doesn't. The 10x improvement is in terms of battle power, but it's obvious that what increased the most was the damage resistance and the strength of the Oozaru, while in terms of speed, the increase was much less pronounced.
The overall was a 10x, but that doesn't mean that every single aspect has to be 10x as high as it was before.
