This idea arose from the fact Goku could be kicked through three stone pillars, had his head hit by an axe which broke the axe, and this was all when he hadn't trained at all, and yet after training with Master Roshi which pushed his powers to new heights and a fucking shot gun at point blank range could kill him?

There's also the fact people were pissing their pants at Piccolo's blast when Roshi destroyed the moon.

And he literally went to the Moon when he killed that Carrot Monster only with his Power Pole, and was able to breath and not turn Oozaru.

There's also Yamcha being able to smack Goku through several large pillars during the first volume, yet Giran practically pissing himself when seeing Goku kick through a brick wall.

However, whilst these feats are inconsistent, the examples are overall not as important as the actual story writing and consistency (other than the Monster Carrot one), of which DB trumps Z.

Sometimes, i think ignorance is bless. Sometimes (the same times as before), i miss
the old days, before i read Early DB, when i used to make DBZ PLs, using BOZ scouters
as a starting point, not trying to make sense out of Early DB mess, because i didn't know
about that mess yet. Sometimes i consider just forgetting about Early DB and declare
the series started at Z, just like AT had forgotten there were two Piccolos.
