Expected Mega Evolutions for Pokémon Sun and Moon

[Six Trails]

What Pokémon do you expect (or want) to get a new mega evolution in the new games? For me:

- Dragonite
- Goodra
- Johto, Sinnoh, Unova, or Kalos starters
- Haxorus
- Hydreigon
- Slowking
- Pyroar

To be honest, most of those are more wants than expectations, but I have no idea what to expect. I suspect that a lot of gen 6 Pokémon will gain mega evolutions since we only actually got one gen 6 mega.

I've complained about giving OP Pokemon megas before, but Arceus needs one purely to stay on top as the strongest Pokemon in the game. They should make his special too, give him a net gain of 120 instead of 100 so he can still have an even distribution.

They need to give it to more Pokemon like Lapras who don't have an evolution family.

Solrock and Lunatone definitely. Anything less would be a missed opportunity for Sun and Moon, for obvious reasons.

I'd add Linoone to the OP, though Itachi's probably right about juicing up already OP Pokémon. They become too broken.

That ought to be a given with Megas, since even Mega Beedrill is of some relevance, even if not competitively. I guess Mega Solrock could be given drought to make it more competitively viable as support, even if Mega Charizard Y would still be an infinitely better alternative.
