Gokuu only attributes the fact that Boo absorbed Gohan, Goten, Trunks, and Pikkoro to him suddenly becoming stronger, not him transforming into Evil Boo. There was also no power-up ever stated when Gray Boo transformed into Evil Boo. Since Fat Boo and Evil Boo have the same components, they should logically have the same power.

Anyway, it's pretty obvious that Evil Boo >> Fat Boo, but as for an explanation, Goku's small lie here would provide more emphasis on Bulma and Trunks' fate than going into the full explanation (which he likely didn't have time for) would make coercing Vegeta into fusing more likely.
I would say that Fat Boo at the peak of his rage (when Satan was shot) ought to be somewhat comparable to Evil Boo's initial display, given Piccolo only cited Boo's body as having become more suited for fighting rather than noting an increase in power and was still not entirely sure on Gotenks' chances.

I guess the point still stands, though. Since it could just as-well be seen as a comparison between Super Boo and Majin Boo. I mean Goku didn't stand a chance against Super Boo either-way.

Obviously!! Boo only got in shape and acquired an evil Chi. Losing weight and becoming more sinister allows you to be sensed across the universe!!

The only part of "everything" that was improved was Boo's weight, ability to sense Chi, and being more evil. That's it!

If I used "Buu" I would call him Super Buu, but I think "Super Boo" looks weird. I think "Buutenks", "Buuhan", and "Super Buu" only work if you use "Buu" over "Boo." Maybe it's just me.

Why did you ban Tosh if you want to open threads like this one? But, yes, i agree that Fat Buu=Super Buu makes much more sense.
Super>Fat is only supported by a single quote of Piccolo, which you can easily take out without changing anything at the plot.
Besides, you can always argue Fat Buu only reached his full power when he got angry before splitting.
