Super Saiyan 2 Goku / Majin Vegeta > True Strength Gohan > Fat Buu Initial


I personally think that Gohan considers his true strength the power he showed against Cell. Not just Super Saiyan 2 power, but I think if Gohan gets angry he can match his previous power.

It seems to be that Piccolo thinks this as well...

Yes I think Goku probably knows what he's talking about. Goku seems to think that Angry Gohan is top dog.

Bare minimum Angry Gohan is at least Kid Gohan's level based on Gohan and Piccolo's point of view.

There is no ''Enraged SSJ2''. By ''true strength'' Gohan referred to the power he had at Cell Games. Probably
it was thought by him and the adults that, be getting angry, he'd regain the power he'd lost by slacking off.

Maybe a 65. Gohan respects his ki, but still thinks he can manage something if he can turn SSJ2.

I think Fat Boo's power after Dabura's insults should be damn near equal to SSj2 Gohan's, since Gohan merely said he could "manage" something, which doesn't exactly instill confidence in my book.

Yea it doesn't seem like Gohan's all too confident in going up against Buu even with his full power. Yet, Vegeta laughs this level of power off as a joke.

Is this the ultimate piece of evidence to end the Gohan was a SSJ/SSJ2 debate?

It's literally impossible for Majin Vegeta to consider a power Enraged SSJ2 Teen Gohan considers tough, laughable.

Numerical impossibility.

Majin Vegeta is not so far ahead of Kid Gohan. A point which Piccolo brings up that if even Gohan died, how can Vegeta hope to win.

So I guess Piccolo has forgotten about Gohan at the Budokai as well then huh?

I believe this may turn me back to the Super Saiyan side after all. SHIIIEETTT.

Personally no. Although recent discussions have me considering the possibility. I see Gohan's rage the key that unlocked SSJ2, I don't see it as a power boost while he's in said form. For example, since Gohan was Super Saiyan against Fat Boo, saying that he needs to get angry means that he can unlock the form to use it against Boo.

Of course, this requires me to use the retcon theory, but I don't mind.

1) Kaioshin's comment after seeing Goku's SSJ2 power vs Yakkon. I'd like to see that quote again.

2) Dabura's standing vs 3,000 killi and explaining that. ( Suppression works fine of course )
