Out of the 2nd series of the original YuGiOh which duels were your favorite to watch?

Joey vs. Kaiba for 3rd place.

If it's just BC, the filler duel between Kaiba and Joey was great. That's the power of Crush Card, son. Yugi vs Strings was epic with the introduction of Slifer. Yugi & Kaiba vs Lumis & Umbra, Kaiba vs Lector, Joey vs Marik, all good duels.

Atem vs. Marik.

I didn't really care for the duels in this arc.

I think a remake of Duelist Kingdom with Battle City rules in the duels would be a good idea.

Exactly. Duelist Kingdom feels too random and haphazard for me to really enjoy the duels. I need a sense of structure with them, like in Battle City.

Yugi vs. Strings, Yugi vs. Kaiba in Battle City, Yugi and Kaiba vs. Lumis and Umbra, and Joey vs. Marik come to mind. I guess the ceremony duel was ok too.

Duelist Kingdom was incredibly broken.

- People won duels in ways I don't understand how it's even possible (Joey vs. Mai, Yugi vs. Panik, Joey vs. Rex)
- Haxed power ups from field spell
- Monsters magically having an advantage over other monsters
1. Machines are invulnerable to magic
2. Flying Monsters > Ground Monsters
3. Battle Ox > Pyro Monsters
4. Toon Monsters being invincible to any other monster besides other Toons

But other duels that were good

Yami Yugi vs. Kaiba (Battle City) I know I already said this, but this is my absolute favorite of the series.
Both of Kaiba's duels with Alister were fun to watch especially their first one
Kaiba vs. Sigfried (KC Grand Prix was a good idea but it was pretty bad for the most part)
Yugi vs. Bakura (Dawn of the Duel)
Yugi vs. Yami Yugi (Final Duel)

Yugi vs Atem
Kaiba vs Joey

Battle City duels were the best, I enjoyed pretty much all of them.
