Altered or Origin?

Personally, I prefer the look of Origin, but I prefer to battle with Altered, considering Altered has higher defense and therefore Giratina is pretty facking durable.

Origin has a sleeker look, but I'm too lazy to equip the orb thingy most of the time.

Competitively, I prefer Giratina-O due to having an actual offensive presence. Giratina-A may be bulkier, but even then it still has no recovery move outside of Rest which makes it much more passive than it already is in the first place. Besides, Giratina-O still has pretty decent bulk and a nifty Ground immunity making it a pretty good Primal Groudon check.

Design-wise, I don't have a preference. Both look cool to me.

Origin by a fair margin for me, via both design and offensive use. Though Altered may have an advantage in terms of both bulk and free item slot, there's very few items I can think of to make good use of it, other than perhaps Leftovers, not to mention Griseous Orb boosts STAB moves to even greater heights.
