For the challenge thread. Here is some of my favourite music from the DragonBall Z anime. I didn't directly put-up the videos because it'd lag the whole thread and crash it multiple times for some people (like me), so I just put-up the side URL.

Variations of Cha-La-Head-Cha-La. Every version of this song is epic, but these are the ones.

Iconic episode re-cap music for DragonBall Z. Before the Boo Saga happened.

One of the few Boo Saga tracks I liked.

Music I normally associate with the Saiyan Saga. Especially like the first one, when Gohan regained his conscious and went after Vegeta.

Music used in the ending a-lot in the beginning of the series.

This is music I normally relate to the Cell Saga. A-lot of creepy music especially the first three, but that fits the Cell Saga the best anyway, the saga had a really scary feel around that with the apocalyptic world, a scary future with everyone dying, Trunks' warning of two monsters, another monster appearing and stuff like that. I also think the 4 - 6 have a real mechanical, almost robot like sound to them which fits considering they're fighting Cyborgs. The music used to creep me out as a child, especially like I said the first three.

Goku's Super-Saiyan transformation. Very memorable.

Bardock TV-Special ending. Very happy and heart-warming music.

Genki-Dama music. I remember this most for when Goku arrived on Namek. EPIC

Lots of good tracks. I wish I knew more by name instead of having to dog through YouTube for them. A lot of the tracks I enjoy are some of the shorter ones, like the track that plays when Cell first presents himself to Piccolo at Gingertown. The movie tracks are honestly the best parts of the movies as well.

If you want to you can easily look-up tracks on his channel. He has a-lot of the tracks, but still hasn't completed everything, I think. You can usually tell by whatever is in the thumbnail because he puts relevant screen-shots in the video, so if you're looking for a piece, but don't know what that's called maybe you'll see that on the thumbnail.

There's a-lot of other tracks, too though I think.

For instrumental osts, all the renditions of Cha-La-Head-Cha-La deserve a mention, particularly "Sayonara Senshi-tachi" and the next episode preview theme. There's also "Kyoufu no Ginyu Tokusentai", "Seigi wo Ai Suru Mono!" and, most of all, the many new renditions of Piccolo/Piccolo Daimao's theme; the version with a heavy emphasis on the trumpet that plays during many of the training segments between Piccolo and Gohan, as well as the electric guitar version from Movie 2 being my two favourites.

For insert songs, Unmei no Hi ~ Tamashii tai Tamashii is pretty much unrivalled, though Solid State Scouter, Battle Point Unlimited and Mind Power...Ki were still good.

Opening and Ending-wise, Cha-La-Head-Cha-La was unquestionably the best opening imo, with the best ending being Movie 12's ending "Saikyo wa no Fusion."

Yeah, Cha-La-Head-Cha-La is the most iconic and recognisable DragonBall Z song, I agree.

Also forgot about the insert songs. I agree Battle-Point Unlimited & Unmei no Hi - Tamashii vs Tamashii & Solid State Scouter were all epic songs.

I'd also maybe give-out an honourable mention to Shura no Senshi. Was quite good.

As for ending-songs. Hikari no Tabi & Aoi Kaze no Hope & Movie 6 ending were my favourites.

Considering I have not watched the JPN dub, I likely don't have an opinion that would be taken seriously.

All of Bruce Falcouner's Music

I don't quite know the names of the Japanese OST, but I enjoy it just as much.

Genkidama in particular is one of my favorites.

Gogeta's theme from movie 12 (JPN) is pretty awesome.

Dragon Ball OP
Solid State Scouter
Goku’s SSJ3 Theme
Gohan’s Anger
Vegeta SSJ Theme

I pretty much prefer Faulconer’s score over the Japanese. Except Solid State Scouter. That alone for me trumps over that.
