We all know that we all became a fun of the anime by watching it and not because of the manga.

So what's the first anime that you became an instant fan of the series?

Me: The first anime that I became an instant fan is Hokuto No Ken. I'm just a fan of DBZ at that time but it was HnK that hooked me up to the anime world and never looked back. It was Kenshiro that made me a fan of the series, I viewed him as the guy that what if Goku was always serious and that's Kenshiro IMO. The only difference between them is that Kenshiro shows no mercy while Goku is merciful. Also the fact its environment is so depressing and it felt like it's the end of century, full of evils and corrupt leaders and I wanted Kenshiro to kill them all. :donovan

Pokemon and Dragon Ball since I grew up in the late 90s/early 00s, so that was pretty much the norm. As far as funding my interest into looking deeper into anime/manga, it was more the power of the internet rather than any specific series that fuelled me to become more invested in the community and industry.
