That would definitely seem like an outlier, or an oddity in the scouter's functions. It has been shown that when it comes to reading one's battle power, scouters are far from instantaneous in tracking a power up's entirety such as Goku's power up to 8k or his 180k power up to Kaioken. That, and feats such as Gotenks taking a while to travel around the world several times at top speed when such was meant to show off his level of power would contradict the idea of characters being MFTL+.
