how do you think frieza treated vegeta while he was working for him? In the fillers it appears he was just a slave but what do you think?

As much as Freeza is a piece of trash, vile, repugnant creature, I hope he treated Vegeta like garbage -- though he didn't. Vegeta was just as dirty as Freeza in the Saiyan arc. I have zero sympathy for Vegeta getting what was coming to him at Freeza's hands and would feel even more satisfied to know that Vegeta would get slapped down every time he got out of line in the past.

There was a comic by Toei from Vegeta's POV where you actually get insight into what Vegeta was up too and Freeza didn't treat him that badly, it was Freeza's goons who treated him like shit and got killed for it. Anyone interested can find them here:

It's somewhat ironic for Vegeta to be a prince yet be a barbarian and savage bloodlusted fighter who enjoys killing others. You'd generally expect a prince to be a fancy, sophisticated and gentleman one.

Freeza a didn't treat him that bad..just gave him orders and missions. He expected Vegeta to be obedient though. Freeza's henchmen are the ones that treated Vegeta like shit. What's funny though is Vegeta hated Freeza the most of the Freeza clan. Obviously though this is because he saw Freeza a as the center of a hierarchy he was subordinate in.

I agree pretty much. Freeza even stated something like "I treated you well thinking you were special, but you turned out to be not too much different from those monkeys obsessed for fighting", although I think the line is filler.

It was, assuming you're referring to the one made when he was stomping Vegeta in his true form.

Even taking it into account, I wouldn't say it's the best evidence when Freeza is also a very biased and self-centred individual, so his opinion is pretty questionable. Not saying it's false, seeing as how most evidence points towards Freeza treating Vegeta decently and only his henchmen giving the prince a hard time, just that Freeza's words alone aren't trustworthy.

Yeah, it was when he threw Vegeta into the sea and then made the water floating using his own powers iirc.
